Employment Term: Part Time
Location: Townsville
Remuneration: $29.00 + 11.5% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging
Rosters: 7am - 2pm, 8am - 4pm, and 3.30pm - 7.30pm
We are seeking individuals who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander who are interested in pursuing a career as a Hospitality Officer.
To perform this role, it is essential that the person is an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person. It is therefore a genuine occupational requirement under section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991.
SSDARU provides residential alcohol and other drug rehabilitation services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Services are delivered by Pinangba, an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-led arm of UnitingCare. The service is based on a modified family therapy model.
Your part in our team
As an Hospitality Officer a key support role to the delivery of our services, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring business operations are run efficiently and our clients and residents receive an exceptional experience.
You will:
Supporting senior hospitality staff members with daily operations which may include housekeeping and laundry services
Preparing, cooking and delivering food in adherence with Australian food safety standards and dietary Requirements of our residents
Being required to uphold impeccable hygiene standards.

Ability to work alone in a kitchen environment
Enthusiasm and strong self-motivation
Great communication skills and excellent attention to detail
