We’re looking for a Senior Risk and Compliance Analyst to join the team at Swyftx. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, while proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating key risks. Reporting to the Director of Risk and Compliance, you’ll play a vital role in embedding and enhancing our risk and compliance frameworks, driving continuous improvement, and supporting a culture of integrity and accountability.

Please note this is a Brisbane based role, and we have hybrid working, with two days per week in our beautiful Milton office.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Risk and Compliance Analyst at Swyftx, you’ll play a key role in strengthening our risk and compliance posture as we continue to grow. You’ll be responsible for:

• Developing, implementing, and enhancing risk and compliance frameworks aligned with AFSL obligations and digital asset regulations.
• Monitoring regulatory developments and ensuring Swyftx stays ahead of compliance requirements.
• Conducting audits and risk assessments to identify, report, and mitigate key risks across the business.
• Partnering with department leads to support risk identification, reporting, and decision-making through the Enterprise Risk Committee.
• Reviewing marketing collateral and new digital asset listings to ensure compliance with relevant guidance and standards.
• Maintaining key compliance registers and preparing reports for senior management and regulators.
• Advising and educating internal teams on compliance risks, policies, and best practices to promote a strong risk-aware culture.

To be successful you will have:

• Solid experience in risk, compliance, or a related field within financial services, ideally with exposure to digital assets, trading, or derivatives.
• A strong understanding of the Australian regulatory landscape, including ASIC’s approach and key compliance obligations.
• Hands-on experience supporting AFSL compliance, including maintaining policies, frameworks, and regulatory registers.
• Familiarity with financial markets and trading environments, with the ability to assess risks and compliance requirements in fast-moving and complex scenarios.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority.
• A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and a passion for staying ahead of regulatory change.
• A collaborative approach and the confidence to contribute to a culture of compliance and continuous improvement
