Based at our 26-bed residential aged care facility in the beautiful town of Yarrabah, an hour south of Cairns, Queensland.

Your role:

Oversee Clinical responsibilities

Develop and mentor a team of clinicians

Work alongside a supportive team including CEO, Facilities Manager, Business Manager and Community Care Manager

Take control and embed the clinical governance along with the clinical leadership team

Contribute to the physical, social and emotional wellbeing of our residents, families & team in a trauma-aware and healing-informed aged care setting

Build meaningful relationships with our team, residents and their families

Promote continuous clinical improvement & the ongoing delivery of excellence in care

Actively monitor the ongoing successful delivery of the Aged Care Standards

Deliver our purpose of providing the highest standards of care to Indigenous elders of Yarrabah and surrounds.

Our ideal candidate will have:

Experience in Leadership or Management role is desired

RN AHPRA Registration

Ability to lead and take control of the clinical aspects of the operation

A desire to work with First Nations people
