About the role
Our Domestic Assistant's provide support to our Home Care clients, ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their health, happiness, independence, interests and choices.

These include:

• Meal preparation, bed making, dusting and wiping, spot cleaning of customer homes including but not limited to cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, cleaning toilets, cleaning windows, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors.
• Occasionally transporting clients for outings / appointments / shopping and respite.
• Ability to identify and promptly report changes in the client’s condition to your team leader.
• Communicate in a timely, appropriate and effective manner that is conducive to effective teamwork with colleagues.
• Complete all documentation in a timely and accurate manner.

To be successful, you will have:

• Experience in Aged Care or similar field i.e. Cleaning/ Housekeeping
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
• Police Check (valid within the last 3 years or willing to obtain)
• Annual flu vaccinations (or willingness to obtain)
• Evidence of COVID-19 vaccinations
• Australian drivers licence
• Own vehicle for work use
