About the role

As an Exercise Physiologist you will work closely with clients to design and implement personalised exercise programs utilising our gym. You will play an essential role in helping clients manage chronic conditions, recover from injury and improve overall physical health and wellbeing.

Delivering world-class accredited exercise physiology services to private, Medicare, SIRA Workcover, DVA, and NDIS clients

Prescribing exercise for a wide range of chronic conditions and injuries including, but not limited to, musculoskeletal, cardiometabolic, osteoporosis, and neurological conditions

Maintaining a workload of 27 billable hours per week, below industry standard, to ensure quality care and dedicated time for each client

Access to direct 1:1 mentoring with experts in the field, to support professional and personal development.

Liaising with GPs and other allied health professionals to ensure holistic, collaborative care for clients

Essential criteria

Appropriate tertiary qualification in Exercise Science/ Physiotherapy or related field.

Exercise Physiologist Accreditation

Current First Aid (including Provide First Aid, and Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)

Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and monitor procedures and systems

Sound technical knowledge in client programming

High level communication and interpersonal skills

Computer literate with the ability to use standard software packages
