AKCNT is seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker to join our leading furniture manufacturer & installer!

About the role

As a Cabinet Maker, you will be responsible for the crafting and installation of custom cabinetry, furniture and millwork to the highest standards.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

measuring/cutting/assembling/installing a variety of custom cabinets, shelves, and other furniture pieces

reading & interpreting plans, sketches and specifications to create detailed work plans

selecting/preparing appropriate materials, tools & equipment for each project

performing skilled carpentry and joinery work to fabricate cabinets, millwork & other custom woodwork

ensuring all finished products meet quality and safety standards

collaborating with the wider team to deliver project requirements on time & within budget.

What we're looking for

Full Australian work rights essential

Min. 1 year qualified Cabinet Maker or Carpenter experience essential

Demonstrated practical skills in furniture making, cabinetry, joinery & woodworking

Ability to read/interpret technical drawings, plans and specifications

Proven familiarity with woodworking machinery, tools and safety practices

Valid driver's license essential.
