Selection Criteria:

To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the below questions as thoroughly as possible.

  1. Tertiary qualifications in Social Work and eligible for membership with AASW. Tertiary qualifications in Nursing, Occupational Therapy or Psychology (with a minimum four-year degree with a major in Psychology and registration with the Psychologists Board of Australia) and registered with AHPRA.
  2. Demonstrated core competency skills in mental health assessment, intervention and education of CALD consumers with high level understanding and experience in cross-cultural mental health.
  3. Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication in Russian, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to proactively engage with consumers to enhance service delivery.
  4. Demonstrated experience in working as part of a multidisciplinary team and to exercise independent professional judgement on routine matters, commensurate with years of experience.
  5. Computer skills and the capacity to use health information systems.
  6. Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and evidence based practice and a commitment to ongoing clinical and professional learning.
  7. Demonstrated experience in delivering recovery oriented practices, consumer and carer participation and consultation.
  8. Current NSW Drivers Licence.
