Labour Hire - Full time (Temp to Perm Opp) - 38 hours per week.

$60.00 per hour flat rate, plus Superannuation on all hours, Weekly pay.

Occasional weekend work will be at award penalty rates.

The Details:

A leading company who specialises in sustainable power generation equipment and mobile lighting towers is looking for experienced Diesel Mechanics to join their team. Immediate start and ongoing work. This position will start under Labour Hire during an initial period, with a high potential for permanent placement with the host company for the right candidates.

Based in Wangara WA, as qualified Diesel Mechanics, Mechanical Fitters or LV mechanics, you will engage in diverse tasks, performing alterations and repairs to old and new generators in the workshop ready for deployment. Your duties will encompass fault finding, diagnostics and repairs to diesel powered equipment, namely generators.

You will have a problem-solving, inquisitive, and technical nature, and you will be excited by the challenges of working with diesel generators and lighting towers , whilst also having a strong ability to provide great customer service and be able to work in an autonomous role.

The Essentials:

Must have a trade certificate (HD or LV - Mechanical trade cert).

At least 3 years post qualification work experience, ideally working on generators on and off grid.

Ability to carry out service and repair work with minimal supervision.

Prior experience working on stand-alone power generation and mobile lighting equipment.

Strong knowledge base of basic hydraulic systems, including troubleshooting and maintenance.

Demonstrate excellent diagnostic abilities for accurately assessing issues and providing effective solutions.

Maintain a thorough approach to work with high attention to detail.

Possess strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.

Provide professional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering positive relationships.

Adhere to safety protocols and actively contribute to maintaining a safe working environment.

Promote and ensure the correct use and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Current WA driver's license.

Punctual, hands-on and organised.

Able to pass pre-employment medical questionnaire.
