We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Cleaner (Support Services Officer - Cleaning) to join our dedicated team. In this vital role, you will help create and maintain clean, safe, and welcoming spaces across our classrooms, boarding houses, and shared facilities.
This is a part-time, term-time only role (20 hours per week).
What you’ll do:
· Carry out daily and periodic cleaning tasks including vacuuming, mopping, sanitising surfaces, and restocking supplies.
· Maintain high standards of hygiene in line with College health and safety protocols.
· Work both independently and as part of a cleaning team.
· Engage courteously with staff, students, and visitors to support a positive College environment.
What we’re looking for:
· Previous experience in a cleaning role, preferably in a school, healthcare, or hospitality setting.
· A strong attention to detail and a commitment to health and safety.
· Ability to manage time effectively and complete tasks efficiently.
· A friendly, respectful team player with excellent communication skills.
· Physical capacity to carry out manual tasks including lifting and extended periods of standing.
· A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain one.
· A valid driver’s licence is an advantage.
