Position Overview:
As a Mental Health Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and influencing key regional functions such as Rostering & Allocations, Workforce Planning, HR, Risk, and IT, while working closely with Service Delivery to ensure operational efficiency and on-the-ground collaboration with both staff and clients. You’ll act as a vital link between our head office teams and frontline employees, fostering positive and productive relationships.
You will provide expert guidance and leadership to support workers within your designated region, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care. In partnership with your Service Delivery Manager, you’ll help monitor performance and support the development of skilled and motivated staff.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting new employees during onboarding and induction
Building strong relationships to enhance the employee and client experience
Ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and industry best practices
Supervising employees across multiple services and locations
Collaborating with internal teams such as Payroll, Finance, People & Culture, WHS, and others
Liaising with external agencies, community networks, and stakeholders
We are currently seeking two Mental Health Team Leaders:
One to manage clients and frontline teams in Northern Sydney (Chatswood & Northern Beaches)
One to lead teams and support clients in Western Sydney (Liverpool & Campbelltown)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and supervision to frontline employees, ensuring clear communication and alignment with operational goals.
Address staffing challenges by coordinating between service delivery teams and other departments like rostering and finance to meet business needs.
Ensure a high standard of service delivery while balancing quality care and operational efficiency.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives, performing audits and evaluating programs to enhance efficiency and compliance with standards.
Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, IT, etc.) to ensure smooth service operations and compliance with legal and safety requirements.
Maintain detailed documentation and reporting, supporting senior staff with accurate data and ensuring legal and quality standards are met.
What We’re Looking For:
Qualifications: Cert IV or Diploma in Mental Health or related field (or relevant experience)
Experience: Background in Mental Health or Disability

NDIS Worker Screening Check
National Police Check
NSW Drivers License
Comprehensive Car Insurance and Registration details
First Aid and CPR Training
Passport or Evidence of your work rights in Australia (if applicable)
Education Qualification certificate
