Just Better Care Eastern Suburb is looking for an Enrolled Nurse to join our caring and dynamic team in Mascot, NSW on a full time basis.

This role involves the providing of effective leadership, supervision and clinical support to staff where necessary.

The Enrolled Nurse is to ensure care is provided in accordance with the relevant Professional and Industry Standards and all legislative requirements.

What you will need:

Current Registered Nurse registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

At least 2 years’ relevant work experience.

Evidence of continued professional development in accordance with the AHPRA standards.

NDIS Worker Screening Clearance

Current First Aid certificate / CPR

Current Australian Drivers Licence

Proof of Working Rights in Australia

Good written and verbal communication skills

Computer literacy

Knowledge of continuous quality improvement principles

Excellent people, problem solving, and conflict management skills

Ability to work as part of a Team and maintain good working relationships

Desirable

Previous employment experience in community care or health/aged care or community services sector.

Main Duties includes:

Perform nursing services in a manner that complies with all relevant legislative, common law, regulatory requirements and professional standards affecting nursing practice.

Possess, apply and continually develop contemporary nursing knowledge to effectively support customers when developing and delivering planned care to meet their needs.

Effective management of the care needs of customers and demonstrate effective utilisation of available resources.

Delivery of contemporary nursing care and services to Clients, safely and competently.

Monitoring the wellbeing of client and informing JBC Manager/co-ordinator of any concerns or changes and taking action within the scope of the customer’s individual care plan.

Ensuring that all documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner.

Ensuring that all responsible steps are taken to protect personal safety at work and avoid adversely affecting the health or safety of any other person at the workplace in accordance with requirements under the Work Health and Safety legalisation.

Participating in performance reviews.

Participating in activities aimed at the continuous improvement of services.

Complying with Just Better Care’s Vision, Values and Purpose.

Complying with Just Better Care’s Staff Handbook, including; relevant policies and procedures.

Salary Range: $70,000 to 80,000 per annum excluding superannuation.
