Pearl Recruitment are currently seeking trade qualified fitters/machinist with tool and die maker experience for our client in Landsdale. Our client a reputable national manufacturer of high-quality ground support products for underground mining and has the opportunity for long term employment as they are expanding.

The Role
This role will require assembly, maintenance and repair of mining equipment and be suited for a candidate who has worked within a manufacturing / factory environment working on fixed manufacturing plant. This role will suit a trade qualified fitter/machinist ideally with tool and die making experience who can identify and diagnosis breakdowns.

Details:

• Mechanical Fitter / Machinist
• Landsdale Location
• $50.00 - $55.00 hr + super + penalties
• Monday to Friday 12:00pm - 8:30pm
• Optional OT

Requirements:

• Trade qualification – Tool & Die Maker or Fitter / Machinist
• Driver’s licence and reliable transport
• Minimum 3 year’s experience within a fixed plant manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of pneumatic & hydraulic systems, and tool & die making experience.
• Ability to pass a medical and drug & alcohol test (required for the job).
• Full working rights
• LF forklift license (highly desirable)
• Press tool experience (high desirable)
• Competent welding and fabrication experience
