About us
Numdaji Kwei Children's Centre is a small 44 place Co-operative situated on the leafy grounds of RMIT Bundoora VIC.
We have three children’s rooms that promote a welcoming, child-focused environment for children of similar ages. Our 3-5 room incorporates an interactive and exciting 3 & 4-year-old Kindergarten Program, while our natural outdoor play space allows the children the opportunity to explore nature and the environment first hand.
Our team of experienced and highly dedicated staff care for and educate children aged 3 months to the commencement of school, and our open-door policy provides a warm and friendly atmosphere for all children and families.
The opportunity
Starting in May 2025
An exciting opportunity will be available in 2025, We are looking for a qualified and passionate Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our team in a permanent full-time capacity with fortnightly RDO (rostered day off) .
In this rewarding position, you will lead the 3-5-year-old room, implementing a 3-4 year-old integrated funded program.

Requirements
Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education (recognised by ACECQA)
Current VIT Registration
Current Working with Children’s Check
Current Level 2 First Aid
Anaphylaxis and Emergency Asthma certificate
Sound understanding of Regulations and Act as well as the NQF and EYLF
Proven ability to develop and implement a high-quality program cycle
A positive and motivated attitude towards children's learning and development
Excellent verbal and written communication
Strong computer and organisational skills
Responsibilities
Running the Kindergaten/long day care program, alongside the Group Leader in the 3-5 years
Implement the integrated funded program for the 3-4-year-olds
Support children and parents needs on a daily basis
Provide a holistic program that promotes and extends on all that is advocated within National Quality Framework and The Early Year Learning Framework for Australia
