Illawarra Diggers Aged & Community Care has been providing high quality care to older veterans and members of the broader community for more than 78 years. We provide a friendly and caring home for our 105 residents that seeks to enhance and support their quality and enjoyment of life.

Hospitality Services – Kitchen Hand/Cook

Illawarra Diggers are seeking applicants for Hospitality roles to cover the areas of kitchen hand with preference for candidates with cooking experience. Both permanent part-time and casual positions are available.

Essential

• Ability to work in a professional team environment
• Sound communication skills (written & verbal)
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including weekends
• Compassion & understanding of older people
• First Aid certificate (prior to commencement or ability to obtain post commencement)

Desirable

• Experience in commercial cleaning, kitchen or laundry
• Experience in residential aged care
