Diamond Coaches is a family owned Bus Company that services local schools in the majority of the northern suburbs, we handle a variety of work ranging from School Runs, All Day Charters and Camp Transfers.

As a company we are continuing to expand and start working relationships with new schools or groups all the time and we pride ourselves on the quality of service we deliver.

Diamond Coaches is looking for casual staff to join our team.

A casual position with our company would suit semi - retired or shift worker looking for a few extra hours. These are not set hours, however on a normal week you could be looking at 15-20+ hours plus if wanted.

Drivers must have the attitude to want to work, involve themselves within the company and work together as a team.

As a casual driver in our company, you will be expected to do the below tasks:

learn school runs to be able to cover these when required

charter work. ie. city excursions, local school charter, probus group day trips, sports.

cleaning of vehicle driven. Swept, mopped, cleaned windows.

hire bus movements and transfers if short staffed with full timers.

fueling of vehicle after use if needed

any other assistance needed by management staff

Applicants MUST hold a current MR or HR License, Victorian Drivers Accreditation and a Working With Children Card.

Applicants preferred to have had BUS DRIVING experience, but not necessary if they have Heavy Vehicle driving experience. Manual MR or HR License very beneficial.

You must also have the following attributes:

~ Be reliable, punctual and honest

~ Enjoy working with children of all ages

~ Good personal presentation

~ Willingness to work as apart of our team

~ Good communication skills

Diamond Coaches pay rate for a full time employee is approx $33/hour + penalty rates.
