This Job will consist of work in Brisbane and work in Central Queensland. Candidate must be willing to work away (DIDO).

Key responsibilities include:

Installing and maintaining electrical systems and equipment

Troubleshooting and repairing electrical faults

Conducting preventative maintenance on electrical systems

Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and project documentation

Industrial Electrical construction

Instrument installation and calibration

Instrument tubing

HA inspections and installations

Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations

Supervising small to medium projects

Qualifications and experience required:

QLD Electrical License

Experience in a heavy industrial electrical environment - 2 years post trade is preferred but not essential.

Experience in installing cable ladder, mains cabling and distribution boards, transformers, PLC's, VSD's and small-scale communications.

Experience with SWA cables is essential.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

A commitment to safety and a proactive attitude towards safety in the workplace

EEHA license is essential as MGSE complete a large amount of work within this industry. Training provided for the right candidate.

CERT IV Instrumentation as a minimum is a positive. Training may be provided for the right candidate to upgrade to Cert III
