Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Psychologist (or Clinical Psychologist) to join our well-established GP medical centre in Mt Kuring-Gai on a contractor basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work independently within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, with on-site referrals from GPs and allied health professionals. The role offers flexible hours and a supportive clinic environment.

You will be responsible for delivering evidence-based psychological therapy to a broad client base, with full autonomy over your schedule and caseload.

Key Responsibilities

Provide psychological assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for individuals across the lifespan

Work with a variety of mental health presentations including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, and adjustment disorders

Maintain accurate and confidential clinical notes in line with legal and ethical requirements

Liaise with referring GPs and collaborate with other health professionals for integrated care

Manage your own schedule, treatment plans and follow-up processes

Deliver client-centred care with empathy, professionalism and clear communication

About You

Registered with AHPRA as a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist

Eligible for a Medicare provider number

Hold current professional indemnity insurance

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Able to work independently while contributing to a team environment
