Home Care Employee – Community & Social Engagement
Our team of Support Workers provides day-to-day assistance to adults and children living with disabilities, helping them live independently, achieve their goals, and explore new interests. Every day is unique, filled with meaningful experiences and plenty of fun!
About the Role
You will be supporting a 19-year-old male client with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) who is transitioning into the community. Your role will focus on social and community access, assisting the client to live independently in his own home.
The client is fully mobile and verbal, requiring no personal care. He is working towards independent living with 24/7 support in the future.
📍 Location: Leschenault (Approx. 16km from Bunbury, 88km from Mandurah)
Ideal Candidate
Good communication skills due to clients ABI
ABI experience is desirable (additionally training will be provided)
Hobbies & Interests - Lego, gaming, fishing, movies, gym
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys engaging with young adults, fostering independence, and participating in fun activities while making a positive impact.
Mandatory Requirements:
NDIS Worker Screening check
First Aid and CPR certificates
