Strive Healthcare is eager to find an ambitious, enthusiastic, patient-centred, service-oriented physiotherapist to join its growing team.
About Strive Healthcare:
Strive Physiotherapy was born in 2022 and is now ready for the next growth phase. Our vision is to help people live to their full physical potential both at work and in sports. Our purpose is to work collaboratively with our clients to help them reach their goals through the use of individualised, evidence-based treatments, education, and advice.
Our vision is to empower every individual to live their best and pain-free life through expert knowledge and compassionate care. We strive to be the foremost leaders in innovative physiotherapy, improving lives and fostering lasting health and well-being.
Our priority is and always will be patient-centred care. We help our patients using personalised treatment plans, advanced techniques, and expert knowledge to achieve pain-free, active lives. We understand every person is different.
About the role:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, service-oriented professional, or graduate, who lives to provide compassionate and high-quality care in a private practice environment while building and maintaining strong therapeutic relationships with both patients and colleagues.
This role requires a dynamic, empathetic, and socially focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment where each day brings new challenges and opportunities.
Your case load will vary every day as people’s needs are different, so you’ll need to be versatile and able to change tack swiftly. You’ll be part of a highly collaborative team, and your ability to engage energetically, communicate persuasively, and involve your patients in making choices to support their health and rehabilitation will be crucial.
As a growing private practice, and if you have an entrepreneurial streak, there’s an opportunity to advance into management or ownership within the practice.
On a day-to-day basis, the role will see you:
- Providing individualised, tailored physiotherapy treatment plans to help patients achieve their health and wellness goals
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with patients to ensure their continued trust, satisfaction, and advocacy
- Educating patients on evidence-based protocols to empower them to live their best, pain-free life
- Building a robust caseload of patients who actively refer you to their friends, families, and colleagues
- Engaging in lively and informal communication to keep the rest of the team informed and energised
- Educating, persuading, and motivating clients to adhere to their treatment plans and lifestyle changes
- Contributing to a friendly, talented, and professional work environment.
This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and professional environment with the potential for growth within Strive Physiotherapy, including a management role or ownership. Your addition to the team will be instrumental in fostering a warm and empathetic atmosphere that prioritises client care and team collaboration.
About you:
You probably describe yourself as a caring, enthusiastic, and motivating professional, with a strong commitment to helping patients achieve lasting health and well-being. You’re passionate about educating people to embrace proven, innovative, and personalised treatment plans.
You thrive in an environment where you can develop meaningful relationships with other people, putting them at ease quickly with your engaging, informal style. You’re adept at reading people, listening to them, and empathising with their situation, while holding them accountable for their own health choices.
You have a collaborative, cooperative style and genuinely want to enrol others in the decision-making process concerning their health. You work comfortably in a team-based environment that is dynamic and fast-paced.
Educating with enthusiasm is the key to your communication style, always prioritising the patient and their well-being goals.
While you’re quite comfortable taking a flexible approach to your work, you pride yourself on meeting the high standards demanded of your profession and you have a strong tendency to work in a highly organised manner.
You’re entrepreneurial in nature and have a life-long love of learning and professional development, seeking growth and additional responsibility, or potential part-ownership.
What you bring to the role:
- A desire to connect with the people around you and understand their needs and goals
- Natural warmth and a gentle, empathetic, engaging communication style that helps you achieve results through education and motivation
- Ability to analyse conditions swiftly and apply innovative physiotherapy techniques to support patient goals and alleviate concerns
- The desire and drive to build your own community of patients and actively progress your career and professional development
- A genuine interest in participating in the overall successful running of the practice
- A fluent, lively, and enthusiastic personality
- Ability to quickly react and adapt to changes in the work environment
- An unwavering focus on compassionate, patient-centred care.
What we can provide:
On offer is a competitive remuneration package including an attractive commission structure and tools of trade. As part of a growing local practice, there is significant opportunity for advancement and management responsibilities or ownership over time.
You’ll enjoy a varied case load in our multidisciplinary clinic, and the opportunity to pursue and develop your special interest area, be it vestibular, NDIS, paediatrics, women’s health, sport, or rehabilitation.
Together we’ll co-design your personal development pathway tapping into our co-contributing PD budget of up to $1,000 per annum. You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in external specialised professional development sessions. We offer flexible rostering covering mornings and evenings from Monday to Saturday.
Our working environment is professional, collaborative, and inclusive. We challenge ourselves to be constantly innovative and at the leading edge of our industry. Our focus on patient education ensures our care and treatment plans put patients’ unique needs and goals at the forefront of our practice.
We’re also open to sponsorship for the right person with the right skills and background.
