About the Opportunity
Our client is a respected name in the civil and mining services industry, delivering critical maintenance and infrastructure solutions across Australia. Located at Phosphate Hill Mine, this site supports one of the country's key phosphate processing operations. What you'll do
As a Diesel Fitter on site, you'll be part of a high-performing maintenance team responsible for keeping a fleet of large-scale mining and civil machines running smoothly. Your key duties will include:

• Performing scheduled maintenance and repairs on heavy mobile plant and ancillary equipment
• Diagnosing mechanical and hydraulic faults across a variety of machines
• Dismantling and reassembling components with precision and attention to safety
• Completing routine inspections and ensuring equipment is operating to standard
• Managing work orders, parts requests, and data entry in line with site procedures

You'll be working on a diverse fleet including dozers, graders, loaders, excavators and haul trucks - all critical to site production.

What you'll need
In addition to being a team player with strong attention to detail, you'll bring a proactive mindset, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work within a structured maintenance environment. To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Current Open Manual Driver Licence.
• Current Australian trade qualification - Diesel Fitter.
• Demonstrated experience working on mining and civil mobile plant, including dozers, graders, loaders, excavators, and dump trucks.
• The ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
• A strong understanding of equipment diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and safety procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to working collaboratively.
