The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Casual Duty Managers & Bar/Waiting/Gaming Staff to join our vibrant teams at the Elephant British Pub in the heart of Adelaide & Britannia Hotel, Norwood. As a casual employee, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our busy pubs, especially during our renovations at both Hotel.

Key responsibilities

Oversee operations of the bar/gaming and dining areas, ensuring a welcoming and efficient service

Serve customers with a friendly and professional demeanour, taking orders and delivering food and beverages

Assist with cash handling, stock management, and compliance with liquor licensing & gaming regulations

Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing training and support as needed

Contribute to a positive work environment and assist with various duties as required

What we're looking for

Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar or restaurant setting

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team

Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities to handle the demands of a busy pub

Knowledge of liquor licensing & gaming laws and procedures

Flexible and adaptable to work a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends
