We need a super reliable and experienced full time cannulation nurse for our busy infusion clinic in Melbourne, opposite the Alfred Hospital

This busy role is full-time at our Melbourne clinic

The Infusion Clinic is Australia’s first nurse-led clinic, where patients are referred by their doctor for an IV infusion like iron or a Biologic therapy for chronic disease. We administer over 12,000 infusions a year across our 3 clinics. (1 clinic in Melbourne and 2 in Sydney)

Our patients need you to have excellent IV cannulation skills, be committed to learning about medications you may not be familiar with, and have unwavering confidence to follow protocols should they experience a medication reaction.

You'll also need the confidence to work independently, as we do not have doctors on site.

The Infusion Clinic is a fast-paced but satisfying work environment, so you need to be a super organised nurse.

Role Duties include but are not restricted to:

IV Cannulation

Patient assessment

Management of adverse medication reactions

Working independently

Patient Education

Working with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and success

Use of computer programs for patient management and team communication

Candidate Requirements:

Registered Nurse (Required)

3 years+ post-graduate experience (Required)

Advanced Cannulation skills (Required)

Advanced physical assessment skills (Required)

Advanced level computing skills (Required)

Current CPR (Required)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills (required)

Driver's license (Desirable)

Experience working with Bariatric Patients (Desirable)

Prior use of GENIE & Clinic 2 Cloud (Desirable)
