Direct Steel Traders is a growing steel supplier in Silverdale.

Direct Steel Supplies are a growing steel supplier based in Silverdale, 2572.

The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, with overtime regularly available.

Hours: 2pm- 10:30pm

Hourly base rate will depending on skill and experience level.

Advertised rate includes 15% loading for afternoon shift.

The role:

Picking orders and marking off paperwork.

Taking in deliveries and filling out relevant documentation.

Loading and unloading trucks, using overhead cranes.

Managing stock placement within the warehouse

Following company policies and Safe Work Procedures

Tidying and general maintenance of yard & work areas

Candidate must:

Have good communication skills.

Be able to work as part of a team and individually.

Be able to read a tape measure and have basic math’s skills.

Average physical fitness and be willing to do a pre-employment medical

Reliable transport to Silverdale

Advantage but not essential:

Forklift Licence

HC or HR Licence

Overhead crane experience

Previous experience in the steel industry
