About the role

Aspiration Education and Development Clinic is seeking a passionate and dedicated Provisional Psychologist or Counsellor to join our team. The role is based in our purpose-built Baulkham Hills clinic and provides the stability and flexibility of ongoing contract work.

What you'll be doing

Provide high-quality, evidence-based psychological / counselling services to youth clients, including assessment, therapy and small group intervention

Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans

Maintain detailed and accurate client records, in accordance with professional and organisational standards

Ensuring that service delivery complies with the appropriate company policies and procedures (such as mandatory reporting)

Contribute to the overall success and growth of the clinic through active engagement and innovative ideas

Professional report writing

What we're looking for

Provisional registration as a Psychologist or Counsellor with the relevant professional body

Strong clinical skills and experience working with youth clients, particularly addressing emotional, behavioural and developmental issues

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work effectively with clients, families, and colleagues

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to continually improve your practice

Available to work 2 to 4 days per week (week days only)

Aspiration Education and Development Clinic (AEDC) is a tertiary referral clinic that specialises in the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, as well as more generalist concerns (Anxiety, Depression, etc). AEDC is part of the National Early Childhood ILC Working Group, dedicating in research and evidence-based early intervention.
