WANT Training Services is a small RTO with head offices in WA and NT. Our base locations are our name, but our staff can be based anywhere in Australia. While this advert says Adelaide, we have used that as a central location and we are seeking applicants with the right skills and experience, regardless of their location.
We deliver our training online, as well as onsite, or wherever the client requires it. We specialise in TAE training products and are seeking trainers who are qualified and experienced in delivering the TAE Cert IV. We also provide community service and business services training.
We are currently expanding our trainer and assessor team to meet the demand for training and are looking for people who have a passion for training, are seeking flexible work hours with family/life balance, have the ability to design and deliver engaging training online and in person, and who are team players.
This s a contract role and hours are scheduled individually with trainers, based on their availability and student demand.
CRITERIA
Qualifications
TAE Diploma
TAE40122 or demonstrated training experience
Must haves
Current VET Industry experience relevant to the TAE; so working in the sector or being part of a professional network.
Knowledge and understanding of the current Standards and the new ones due to drop later this year.
Flexibility to schedule training commitments in the longer term.
Flexibility to training in the short term – team back up and this can happen at short notice.
Able to travel for work intra and inter state
Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance
Registered ABN and set up to operate as a subcontract trainer
Strong information and communication technology skills including:
· Online learning management systems
· Use of online platforms and channels to deliver engaging training
· Student record keeping and data systems such as SmartSheets / Excel
Tasks
Conduct online training workshops; applicants will need to have a suitable workspace to provide this training.
Design and deliver in person workshops and this may include travel and overnight stays at the training location.
Participate in weekly team meetings
Contribute to the review, validation and improvement of training and assessment resources
Participate in VET professional development; WANT will support this.
Maintain current vocational skill and knowledge for your area of expertise.
Be nice to have……
Community Service qualifications and experience to train or assess Certificate III Individual Support – disability and aged care, or higher.
Business Services qualification and experience, or other vocational qualifications.
Experience in designing and developing learning and assessment resources
Experience in student coordination or using student management systems.
