About the Opportunity
Central Australian Women’s Legal Service (CAWLS) is looking for a full-time or part-time Local Link Senior Education & Project Officer based in Alice Springs, NT.
Reporting to the Manager, Policy and Education (Project Lead), this role is responsible for developing education and training for frontline health workers, helping them better identify and respond to disclosures of domestic, family and sexual violence (DFSV), and child sexual abuse (CSA). This is part of CAWLS' innovative Health Justice Partnership model.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Developing and delivering ongoing training for primary healthcare providers on DFSV and CSA
Building and formalising partnerships with GP clinics and allied health providers
Auditing and redeveloping referral pathways and resources in line with NT Risk Assessment and Management Framework
Providing secondary consultation support for partner services
Creating training content, including e-learning materials, and maintaining up-to-date referral databases
Evaluating program delivery and collecting relevant qualitative and quantitative data
Facilitating communities of practice and strengthening networks across Central Australia and the Barkly

About You
To qualify, you will need a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAA40104 or TAE40110) or significant experience in adult education design and delivery. Demonstrated experience with and understanding of domestic, family and sexual violence (DFSV) and child sexual abuse (CSA) is essential.
Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:
Experience with e-learning methods and content creation
Familiarity with the NT DFSV Risk Assessment and Management Framework
Knowledge of referral pathways and service mapping
Experience in legal or health sectors, particularly in remote or CALD communities
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and public speaking skills
Strong commitment to trauma-informed practice and intersectional support

Please note: This is a female-identified position under Sections 30 and 34 of the Sex Discrimination Act 1984. You must also hold (or be eligible to obtain) a current NT Driver’s Licence, Ochre Card, and National Police Check.
