Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the execution of assurance reviews, focusing on risk management across major projects and transformation initiatives
• Conduct thematic and deep-dive reviews in line with 2nd Line Assurance Standards, assessing control design and effectiveness
• Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to ensure delivery and post-delivery risks are well managed
• Prepare clear, insightful reporting for program steering committees, risk committees, and governance forums

What you'll need to succeed in this role:

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a risk/project risk/assurance role within the Banking and Financial Services industry
• Proven experience in overseeing project governance, risk management, and compliance in large-scale complex transformation projects.
• Experience in project management and assurance is essential to this role (have a strong understanding of how a project and assurance life cycle works)
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
