We are seeking a maintenance carpenter or experienced handyman for our Commercial and Industrial Property Maintenance business.

This is a full time, permanent role with good conditions and a fully maintained vehicle, you will be joining our existing team in Sydney. Emergency call outs and weekend work is an expectation due to our client's needs.

We have offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Tasmania, so there is room to grow within the business for people with the right attitude and work ethic.

We value people - along with the 20 days paid annual leave and 10 days paid sick/personal leave, we also provide 6 days paid mental health/me time - a day to do what you want without using any other leave.

We have many back office support staff to assist you while you are out on the road performing the work, so you will always feel supported.

Main Purpose of the Role

The role is to provide hands on building maintenance trade services in a safe and quality driven manner. Our clients are well known national and international businesses with a variety of work required on their sites.

Performance Standards

Arrives on site at least 10 minutes prior to start time

Communicates with clients in a courteous way and aims to exceed client expectations

Carries out all services in a professional manner

Carries out all necessary housekeeping before leaving a job, including wiping down surfaces, sweeping, vacuuming etc. Leaving the site and in a clean and tidy manner

Ensures client is satisfied with the level of work carried out before leaving a job

Position Requirements

Drivers Licence

General Construction Induction Card (White Card)

General IT literacy

Previous building maintenance experience or trade qualification

Police Check (or conducted by Employer prior to commencement)

Working With Children Clearance (or conducted by Employer prior to commencement)
