THE OPPORTUNITY
Salary: $49,530 gross per annum (pro-rata) plus 11.5% super. Reasonable overtime will be offered which can be taken as a 25% salary loading equating to $12,383 p.a. by agreement.
Time Fraction: Full Time, 1.0 EFT.
Location: Eildon campus.
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
Position Status: An initial contract will be offered for 12 months.
Join our team at Holmesglen Eildon as a Housekeeping & Kitchenhand, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our facilities!
In this hands-on role, you'll ensure all rooms and areas are serviced to the highest standards, assist with ordering cleaning supplies and linen, and help maintain the stores area and staff uniforms. You will also support the kitchen team in food preparation and service, contributing to a seamless guest experience.

ABOUT YOU
- Strong communication, organisational, and customer service skills, with an emphasis on time management and hygiene standards.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality or accommodation sector.
- Knowledge of cleaning best practices in the accommodation and conference industry.
- Completion of Secondary School, a current Victorian Driver’s Licence, and First Aid & CPR qualifications.

Holmesglen at Eildon is a purpose-built Conference facility and a campus of Holmesglen Institute - Victoria’s largest and most successful provider of Vocational & Higher Education.
The Eildon facility accommodates conference groups, functions, and events with accommodation on-site for 150 guests. In addition, the facility hosts Holmesglen student groups for retreats and activities, as well as Holmesglen staff for Professional Development.
