Supported Accommodation Professionals

Support participants in a 24/7 SIL setting within NDIS Practice Standards. This role requires availability during the day, evenings, sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays.

Disability Support Professionals

Empower individuals to achieve their goals through meaningful community engagement and personal development while adhering to NDIS guidelines. This position requires flexibility to work Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 3:30 pm, with the ability to work in the community and at our Community Hubs in Alexandra Hills, Wynnum, Logan, and Upper Coomera.

Supported Accommodation Professionals - The Role

Join our SILS (Supported Independent Living) team within the Redlands area. These are casual positions with the potential to transition to permanent part-time (PPT).

Responsibilities:

Empower participants to achieve their goals by enhancing their abilities and capacity.

Monitor goal progress and evaluate support effectiveness, ensuring accurate documentation.

Deliver direct support, guidance, and supervision aligned with participants' NDIS Support Plan.

Facilitate the development of specific goals outlined in participants' plans, offering continuous support.

Ensure that appointments are coordinated, follow-up tasks are completed, and plans are made to effectively meet participants' needs.

Provide necessary physical assistance and personalised care as specified.

Manage complex needs or disability-related behaviour when required, following Care Plans, Risk Assessments, and Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSP).

Disability Support Professionals - The Role

Join our Lifestyle teams at Alexandra Hills, Wynnum, Logan, and Upper Coomera. These are casual positions with the potential to transition to permanent part-time (PPT).

Responsibilities:

Empower participants to engage with the community, fostering their social integration and personal growth.

Track participant progress in community engagement and social goals, assessing the effectiveness of support provided.

Offer direct assistance, supervision, and guidance to facilitate community access and social goal development as outlined in their NDIS Support Plan.

Assist in organising and facilitating community-based activities, appointments, and plans to encourage participation and goal achievement.

Provide physical assistance and personalised care tailored to individual needs for seamless community involvement.

Maintain thorough records detailing participant progress in accessing the community and pursuing personal and social goals.

Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

Qualifications at a minimum level, CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) and/or Community Services, or social sciences, and/or significant demonstrated experience and skills in community services delivery are highly desirable. Ability to undertake and complete the Cert III Individual Support within your first 12-18 months of employment within our registered training division.

Demonstrated knowledge and experience in delivering "person-centred" support within a SIL or Lifestyle environment.

Ability to work in a team or independently.

Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise, and organise your workload to contribute to high levels of successful participant outcomes.

High level of problem-solving skills.

Intermediate IT skills.

NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

Valid QLD Driver's Licence and willingness to use own vehicle with reimbursement for kilometres travelled.

Valid First Aid Certificate including a valid CPR Certificate.
