Here at Design & Build we are seeking dedicated and skilled Safety Advisors to join our client in the civil construction industry.

Projects will be based between Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

Overseeing safety operations across a variety of exciting and challenging projects. These include major road infrastructure, urban developments and subdivisions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the wider team to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification
• Develop, update, and enforce safety procedures, ensuring the wellbeing of all site workers and contractors.
• Conduct comprehensive safety audits and inspections, ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards.
• Travel between sites across Greater Brisbane

About you

• Proven experience as a Safety Advisor or similar role in civil construction
• Relevant certifications such as Cert IV in WHS or equivalent
• Proven ability to identify hazards and implement effective solutions in fast-moving environments
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
