Role

Due to unprecedented growth, Wangaratta Mazda are seeking a vibrant, motivated Senior Mechanic / Workshop Controller to join our ever growing team!

With no two days the same, you will be confident in inspecting and repairing all types of vehicles to the highest standards. You will be a qualified & knowledgeable mechanic and have a proven background in servicing, maintenance repairs, diagnostics, fault finding and repairing as well as general vehicle reconditioning.

While being hands on, you will also be responsible for overseeing a team of Technicians, guiding the team to deliver the best quality of work every time while managing and overseeing daily workshop operation.

We want the kind of person that will jump in and get their hands dirty to help the team when they need it.

If a customer needs something, you will be on the phone to them straight away and making it happen now, not waiting until the next service.

This position is best suited to an experienced Mechanic / Technician looking to take the next step in their career.

Reliable, conscientious, adaptable and customer focused

Disciplined and able to lead a workshop team

Excellent Computer skills

Valid Full Victorian Manual Drivers Licence Essential

Working with childrens check.

Current Hybrid / EV certifiation Highly Regarded

Current Road Worthy Licence Highly Regarded

Previous Mazda Experience Highly Regarded

Experience as a Qualified Technician in a Workshop Environment is Essential
