About the role

As an Electrician at Syncom, you will mainly facilitate service, maintenance and repair works in rental properties across metro and regional Melbourne, along with electrical & smoke alarm safety checks, and minimum standard checks.

With a mix of electrical repairs, maintenance, installation works and rental safety checks, we offer varied field work across residential and commercial from time to time. So if you need a change of pace we can incorporate a variety of work.

Infield reporting is made easy with a simple report form, filled out on site and submitted on completion of each the job, no additional paperwork.

We provide all training and have a dedicated electrical manager who is there to support you as you progress, along with helping you with any on job questions.

We offer a higher than industry standard wage, company car, company phone, and are currently in the process of instituting RDO's.

There is opportunity for regional travel, overtime, and weekend work.

What you’ll bring

Experience in residential properties preferred but not essential. Safety is your mantra, motivated to put the customers first and ensure the property is in a safe condition for occupants.

We have systems in place to make your work as easy as possible so you can focus on a great outcome for all stakeholders, and ensuring appropriate communication with our field management team and internal operations team.

Feedback and communication are key to success in this role, not only with stakeholders, we value our entire team being involved in improving processes, all suggestions are taken onboard.

Strong work ethic and motivated

Able to follow instruction and processes formulated, resourceful when you need

Excellent understanding of AS3000 Wiring Rules

Strong domestic service & maintenance background is ideal but not essential

Applicant Requirements

Qualified A Grade Electrician

Competent with smartphones and applications

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
