What you'll be doing
Join our team at Westmead Hospital as an Echocardiographer in the Department of Cardiology. You'll provide high-quality diagnostic and clinical services while collaborating with a dedicated medical team.

• Performing echocardiography following industry standards.
• Prioritising competing workloads.
• Ensuring patient confidentiality and professionalism.
• Modifying techniques for optimal examination outcomes.
• Contributing to departmental and patient care beyond routine duties.

Essential Criteria:

• Qualification: Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound (Cardiac)
• Registration: Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registery

Selection Criteria:

1. Accredited by the Australian Sonographer accreditation registry.
2. Postgraduate qualifications in Medical Sonography (Cardiac).
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Commitment towards a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
5. Computer literacy.
6. Demonstrate high standard of practice within the profession, through the active involvement in areas such as conferences, lectures, seminars, continuing education or professional development.
