We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Road Transport Mechanic to join our team in the gold fields .You will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing a fleet of heavy vehicles and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

What you'll be doing

Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs on a variety of heavy vehicles and earthmoving equipment.

Conducting thorough inspections and providing detailed reports on the condition of vehicles and equipment

Collaborating with the team to ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality

Skills/Qualifications:

Extensive experience (5+ years) as a Heavy Road Transport Mechanic

Current & Valid Driver's License (HR Preferred)

National Police Clearance

Australian Recognised Trade Certificate

High Risk Forklift Licence (Desirable)

Strong knowledge of various diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.

Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Strong technical knowledge and hands-on expertise in the maintenance and repair of a wide range of heavy vehicles and equipment including Kenworth, Western star, Mack, Volvo, Komatsu, Caterpillar

A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation

A commitment to workplace health and safety, with a thorough understanding of relevant regulations and procedures

A positive, collaborative attitude

Must be self sufficient and able to work by themselves
