The Opportunity:

Melbourne Tutorials, a premier tutoring centre, seeks enthusiastic and dedicated English and Mathematics Tutors to join our team in Thornhill Park and Truganina, VIC. The grades covered are from Grade 1 to Year 8.

This part-time role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced educator to make a meaningful impact on the academic success of our students.

Key Responsibilities

Provide group tutoring to students ranging from primary to secondary school levels.

Deliver lectures/ tutorials based on the resources provided.

Monitor student progress, provide regular feedback, and implement strategies to support their academic growth.

Maintain accurate records of student attendance, lesson plans, and assessment results.

What We're Looking For

Relevant qualifications in related subjects and passion for education.

Minimum 2 years of experience tutoring or teaching English / Mathematics at the primary or secondary school level.

Be able to work after school hours or weekends.

Knowledge of the Australian curriculum and ability to adapt lessons to different learning styles.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to act as a positive role model for students.

Reliable, responsible and able to work with minimum supervision.

Punctual and have a good personal presentation.
