Community Home Care - Domestic Cleaners and Support Workers

We are recruiting for experienced cleaners, domestic assistant and support workers to provide flexible, person-centred support to our clients within their homes.

Common services we provide to assist our clients in their homes include:

General household cleaning in kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms etc.

Washing dishes, hanging and folding washed clothing, changing bed linen

Shopping with or on behalf of your clients

Personal care - showering and bathing, grooming, toileting etc.

Social support and community access

Assisting with medication

About you:

Experience working within the community providing assistance to people receiving aged care or disability funding

To work as Support Worker: Certificate III in Individual Support

Your own smart mobile phone with a calls and data plan;

A current full Tasmanian C class manual drivers license, and your own reliable transport;

Current satisfactory National Police check (within the last 3 months) and Working with Vulnerable People registration;

Flu and Covid-19 vaccination within the last 12 months

A current First Aid and CPR certificate (or the ability to acquire); and

Medically fit and physically suited for the full inherent requirements of the job.
