We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with WMS be responsible for fulfilling the daily, weekly and monthly, picking, packing and distribution requirements. Our SKU's and Assemblies can be complex, therefore the individual must be capable of understanding BoM's and packing lists.
This role requires an individual who can helps us elevate our Inventory Management System and help progress the department.
Assembly and light metal fabrications skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory:
Manage inventory levels including domestic product purchasing, overseas product purchasing and local value add services.
Manage 3rd party logistics to ensure our distribution runs on time and is cost efficient.
Supervise team members and their daily tasks to ensure products are made and assembled on time.
Stocktake is carried out promptly and accurately at month end.
Employ the most appropriate WMS to improve efficiency and coordination across all departments.
Support a collaborative work culture of 'willingness, learning teamwork and enjoyment'.
Equipment Management:
Ensure appropriate warehouse equipment is captured in a pro-active service schedule.
The warehouse and where appropriate the overall site, is kept tidy, organised and safe.
Storage:
All materials are stored securely in their own locations.
Correct use of equipment including forklifts, are used responsibly by the warehouse team.
Customer Service:
Serve as a point of contact for spare parts inquiries, ensuring clear technical advice, prompt quoting, order taking and closing of sales opportunities.
Provide excellent customer support by addressing product or service-related questions and troubleshooting technical issues.
Handle customer complaints in a professional and empathetic manner, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
Administration:
Adhering to company and industry regulations.
Ensuring the product / stock ordering process is followed and acceptable levels are maintained.
Qualifications:
Education:
Tertiary Education (desirable but not mandatory)
Experience:
5+ years of warehouse experience in a B2B environment.
Experience in manufacturing and distribution is essential.
Experience in trucking and haulage is highly desirable.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel as well as experience with Microsoft applications.
Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero is imperative.
Strong understanding of sales price structuring including costs and margins.
Willingness to communicate effectively with team members and external parties.

Proactive problem solver who can work independently.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
Working Conditions:
Work Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Monday to Friday.
Benefits: 30 days holiday (including statutory holidays)
Location: In office each day. Desirable for candidates to be flexible between western Sydney locations.
