We’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner / Scheduler to join our team and take the lead in planning heavy mobile equipment (HME) maintenance activities. This is a crucial role to ensure fleet reliability and support operational efficiency onsite.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling maintenance activities for our fleet of Caterpillar and Komatsu Rear Dump Trucks and other HME assets. You'll be utilising SAP to manage work orders, plan shutdowns, and track maintenance performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, schedule, and monitor maintenance plans for HME fleets
• Coordinate with supervisors, technicians, and OEM reps to ensure timely execution of work
• Utilise SAP to manage maintenance workflows, backlog, and reporting
• Drive continuous improvement in planning and maintenance systems
• Support compliance with safety and maintenance standards

Required Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Planner or Scheduler in mining or heavy industry
• Strong working knowledge of SAP
• Familiarity with Caterpillar and Komatsu Rear Dump Trucks is essential
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Trade qualification or mechanical background advantageous
• Unrestricted Australian working rights
• Reside in a safe driving distance to Middlemount (please note, FIFO is not an option for this opportunity)

Additional Information:

• $85 per hour + Superannuation
• Weekly pays
• 9 day fortnight roster (Mon-Fri/Mon-Thur)
• Camp accommodation & meals supplied while working
• Mine site located in the Middlemount region, great location for candidate in the Rockhampton and Central Queensland regions!
