About the Opportunity

The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is looking for a full-time Procurement and Contracts Officer based in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, WA.

You’ll drive value-for-money procurement outcomes and ensure best practice contract management across the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder. Reporting to the Contracts and Procurement Manager, you'll support internal teams, lead tender processes, and help optimise procurement strategies.

Key responsibilities:

Oversee procurement and contract management frameworks

Coordinate end-to-end procurement activities

Support departments with sourcing strategies and compliance

Manage tenders, evaluations, and supplier performance

Provide expert procurement advice and risk mitigation support

What you’ll bring:

Tertiary qualifications in procurement or related discipline

Experience in procurement and contract management

Strong stakeholder and negotiation skills

Knowledge of procurement legislation and policy

Proficiency in procurement systems and record keeping

Local government experience (desirable)

Current WA ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence & National Police Clearance
