Your key responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service to our Technology Group and Business stakeholders by providing clear, accurate and timely financial, purchasing and administrative support.
- Provide financial management assistance and ensure adherence to financial policies and regulations.
- Provide administrative support including accurate data entry and analysis and assisting in the preparation of a range of regular and ad hoc reports and documentation.
- Complete month end finance processes including but not limited to:
- Contract labour accruals.
- Report finalised project labour hire costs recorded via time sheeting into the charge out model.
- Track and follow up on timesheets and invoices with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure timely processing.
- Manage and provide insights into the Technology Group overhead accounts including analysis on predicted rate of clearance. - Capitalise completed projects and IT assets e.g. laptops
- Raise and receipt Purchase Orders for IT equipment and accessories, other general purchases related to the Technology Group, including preparation of accruals.
- Manage and process CAPEX journal entries accurately, ensuring correct allocation, compliance, and timely reconciliation.
- Administer and manage small sourcing events including selecting and contracting with new suppliers, renewals and terminating where applicable.
What we're looking for
- Tertiary qualification in Finance Administration or related discipline
- Experience in purchasing and finance management, including process improvement and the management and governance of related business and technology systems
- Prior experience in an Administration role within a project environment is preferred.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in MS Office tools, especially Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience with accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Knowledge of invoices, purchase orders, and expense processing.
- Knowledge of accrual accounting and journal processing.
- Ability to manage multiple financial tasks and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
- Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring precision in all tasks and deliverables.
- Service oriented with the ability to take direction and initiative.
