About this role
You'll be joining the largest public health system in Australia and contribute to a world-class health system in NSW.
This role is part of the Revenue, Performance and Funding team that develops and drives strategies to optimise revenue opportunities to support NSW Health in delivering health system performance including Local Health Districts, Networks, Ambulance, Ministry Branches and Pillars.
You will undertake complex reviews, benchmark and analyse financial and revenue performance data and provide expert advice to the executive and other key stakeholders.

Crown Clerk 9/10, starting salary from $125,693 - $138,510 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week.

What you'll be doing
- Support health services to develop, implement and monitor revenue management and turnaround strategies, including ensuring ongoing measurement and monitoring.
- Manage and co-ordinate projects and resources aimed at achieving and sustaining strong performance in revenue maximisation
- Actively participate and represent the Ministry position on a number of committees and working groups to share information and facilitate the meeting of objectives.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting on the progress of projects to the Director of Revenue Performance & Funding.
- Establish, maintain and support networks and frameworks to identify and share revenue best practices across Health Services.
- Manage, co-ordinate, and promote efficiency mechanisms and programs aimed at achieving and sustaining strong performance in revenue management and reporting.
- Conduct revenue appraisals of Health Service performance and Ministry program performance.
- Apply financial and other health system related performance data to benchmark all areas of revenue performance.
- Support the Director of Revenue Performance and Funding to manage compliance with Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) rules across Health Services.
About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
- The ability to communicate effectively and build/maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- The ability to undertake critical financial analysis, design innovative solutions and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in accountancy, business, economics, commerce, finance or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of revenue legislation, policy and billing systems particularly in the health environment.
