Our client, a highly regarded boutique law firm with over 50 years of excellence in Victoria, is seeking an accomplished Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join its thriving Property Law practice. This is a newly created role due to strategic growth and presents an exciting opportunity to work on high-calibre matters with a leading Principal while assuming key supervisory responsibilities within the team.

The Role
You will handle a diverse mix of property law matters, including:

• Residential, commercial, and industrial property transactions
• Leasing and town planning
• Adverse possession claims
• Acting for major property developers on landmark Victorian projects

This role offers 2IC responsibilities, working closely with the Practice Group Leader and provides exposure to sophisticated, blue-chip client work. The position has arisen due to growth and upcoming parental leave transitions, making it an urgent hire.

Ideal Candidate

• 6+ years PQE in property law, with strong experience in adverse possession, leasing, and development
• Background in a recognised mid-tier or boutique firm with high-quality experience
• Leadership potential – keen to take on mentorship and 2IC responsibilities
• Strong client management skills and commercial acumen
