About the role

MAV Melbourne is seeking an experienced senior AV Technician to join our team at one of our premier CBD venues. This is a full-time position that will involve the set-up and operation of audio-visual equipment across a range of corporate events.

What you'll be doing

Set-up, test and operate audio-visual equipment such as audio systems, screens, vision mixers, cameras, video conferencing solutions and event lighting

Provide on-site support and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance of MAV's AV systems

Liaise with clients to provide technical expertise and deliver on their event requirements

Collaborate with the wider team to identify and implement improvements to AV systems and processes

Provide leadership, training and mentoring of junior team members

Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and procedures

What we're looking for

Proven experience as an AV Technician or similar role, with a minimum of 3 years in the industry

Strong technical knowledge of audio-visual equipment, including projectors, vision mixers, audio systems, and video conferencing

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients

Currently working or previously employed working inhouse at AV venues is an advantage
