Store to Door is a growing marketplace connecting top-quality local food manufacturers with happy customers, and we need a versatile team member to keep things running smoothly! This role is from Tuesday - Saturday and kicks off at approx 6 AM until 2 PM, with some pick-ups from suppliers, packing orders from our trusted suppliers, followed by delivering them to customers with a smile. After that, you’ll prep orders for the next day, coordinate with suppliers, and pack again to set us up for success. If you enjoy a mix of hands-on work, driving, and organisation, in a positive, friendly working environment then this is for you. Situated conveniently close to Sydenham station and the new Metro.

Key Responsibilities:

Packing & Order Preparation: Utilising internal systems with Shopify to process orders and ensure all orders with suppliers are placed, accurately packed and stored correctly.

Pickups: Pick up supplies from our suppliers as needed.

Route Planning: Organise and optimise delivery routes for efficiency and timely service.

Delivery Driving: Safely deliver cakes, desserts, butcher items, and pantry goods to customer locations.

Customer Service: Executing daily administrative tasks as required and provide excellent customer service, before, during and after deliveries; greet customers with a smile and address any inquiries they may have.

Maintenance: Ensure the vehicle is clean and ready for the next day’s deliveries.

Who you are:

Highly organised and motivated.

Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Basic knowledge of Shopify platform would be beneficial (not essential)

Ability to multi-task and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to drive a Van (experience not essential).

Ability to lift and carry boxes (up to 20kg) as part of the packing and delivery process.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow route plans.

Well presented with excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Would suit someone who enjoys varied responsibilities and working in a fast-paced environment of a small but growing company.
