Contractor (Sessional) Position
Are you living somewhere in the NT? Maybe Yulara or Nhulunbuy or Batchelor? A remote community perhaps? Travelling around the NT in your caravan?
EASA is looking for an innovative, flexible & adaptable clinician that is self-directed with a range of transferrable skills. An individual who is looking for diverse challenges in a professional counselling setting.
EASA is a not-for-profit organisation providing organisational consulting, training and counselling services to individuals and organisations in the Northern Territory. Since 1982, EASA has successfully been delivering its mission - “developing organisations by developing people”.
We invite expressions of interest from experienced Clinicians or those with accreditation who are interested in counselling to provide services to those that are also living remote. We welcome the opportunity to provide counselling to our clients via face to face (as well as telehealth/online if you are based in the NT).

Essential:
Registration with one of the following:
AHPRA
ACA/PACFA
AASW
Experience with Trauma, Mindfulness/ACT, CBT and Brief Interventions/ Solution Focused approach with a good counselling background.
Interest, aptitude & ability in areas of work noted above.
Knowledge of a range of psychological assessment tools.
Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
Ethical, caring & empathic personal qualities.
Demonstrated initiative & accountability for work.
Ability to build good therapeutic relationships for client-centred outcomes.
Experience working in a range of settings.
Desirable:
Experience in trauma counselling, narrative therapy & safety cultural awareness.
Experience working with diverse groups of people and ages.
