We require a committed team of support workers, with the ability to follow defined health support processes, to provide support to a mature-aged male in all areas of personal care, gastrostomy feeding, medication administration and hoist transfers.

Tailored, individualised training will be provided by our Management team and Registered Nurse on all aspects of supports required.

The role is within a family home located in Tahmoor and will include close interaction with family members, with a professional yet caring approach.

Shifts are available across all days of the week between the hours of 7am-9pm, including weekends. Shift structures include 8hr & 4hr shifts and applicants must be prepared to fill both shift durations as needed.

Essential Requirements:

• Cert III or higher in Disability/Community Services/Individual Support or related field
• Demonstrated experience, knowledge and understanding of people living with disabilities
• Experience providing respectful supports within a person's home
• Experience providing personal care

Highly Desirable:

• Demonstrated experience, knowledge and understanding of people with acquired injury who have high physical support needs
• Experience in supporting people with peg feeding, gastrostomy care, medication administration and hoist transfers.
• Experience supporting adults with epilepsy and dementia.

• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current First Aid Certificate including CPR
• Valid Driver's Licence & vehicle with full comprehensive insurance
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• Infection Control Training
• Manual Handling Certificate
• Safe Food Handling Certificate
