FIFO Ex-Perth

2/1 Roster - 2 weeks on, 1 week off.

We are a plumbing, gas, air con and controlled waste business that operates across the Goldfields, covering a large area from Esperance to Wiluna and beyond.

We are searching for experienced and licensed plumbers and gas fitters who are familiar with government paperwork and procedures. We require competent staff who are experienced in maintenance plumbing and who can sign off their own gas work.

Our work includes local government, mines, schools, hospitals, Water Corporation, real estate, indigenous housing, and more which will have you doing something different every day.

Our work will take you to many different places including remote communities, where you will see a side of Australia many don't get to experience. Strong experience in maintenance will be beneficial as we work on a lot of older properties.

Qualifications & experience

WA Plumbing and Gas qualifications (You must be able to sign off your own gas work using E-notice) – Essential

Manual C class license required at minimum

You must be able to provide a National Police Clearance

White Card

You must have your own basic hand tools (press machine and major tools provided)

Excavator and skid steer ticker beneficial but not essential

You must be physically able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment medical and physical assessment, with on-going drug and alcohol screens as required by our clients.

Tasks & responsibilities

Maintain company vehicle with daily pre-starts

Contact customers to arrange bookings between bookings made by management

Order gear and handle your own vehicle stock

Take clear photos and write precise job notes using Servicem8

Complete scopes for repairs/installs for office to quote

Sign off your own gas work and provide E-notices

Attractive hourly rates will depend on experience relevant to the role.
