About the role

Crest Contracting Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time HC Truck Driver to join our team, based out of Nairne SA 5252. In this varied and hands-on role, you will be responsible for operating Truck with Tipper + Quad Dog and assisting with our agriculture and quarry work. You will also be required to use telescopic handler at times. Our work is local, and rostered over Mon-Fri, home every night.

What you'll be doing

Safely drive heavy combination (HC) trucks to transport materials, equipment, and supplies between worksites and depot

Operate Telehandler to load truck at times, predominantly on farm sites

Perform routine maintenance and pre-operational checks on all assigned vehicles and equipment

Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies

Work collaboratively with the wider team to support the successful delivery of work

What we're looking for

Solid experience as a HC Truck Driver, preferably in a farming, construction, or logistics environment

Proficient in the operation of telehandler and/or skid steer or similar, or willing to learn

Works well in a fast-paced role and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty

Valid Heavy Combination (HC) driver's license and a good driving record essential

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety

Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks

Excellent communication, isn't afraid to ask questions and learn new things

An honest, reliable team player

Someone who is an all-round good person - decent humour is advantageous!
