An interesting position has opened, you will be responsible for providing Facility Management and Gardening Service to our client in a residential block in ACT.

The successful candidate will be able to become an integral member of the team and manage the property in the portfolio.

Position Description

· Ensure building safety and compliance is maintained, and coordinate contractors required access for building services, plant rooms, roof, and general grounds.

· Supervise contracted service providers to ensure that their duties are properly carried out.

· Undertake Maintain fire doors, door closers, door sealing, LED lights.

· Wherever possible, undertake small handyman tasks. For example, tightening door handles, adjusting door closers, Sealing (windows and doors), LED light replacements etc.

· Undertake quarterly solar panel cleaning including cobwebbing.

· Supervise the cleaning contractors engaged for the building.

· Placement/removal of Lift blankets prior to unit move-ins/outs and confirmation of lift condition after each unit move.

· Maintenance and pruning to trees.

· Maintenance and pruning to shrubs and hedges.

· Mowing, edging and maintenance to lawns.

· Maintenance to garden beds, plants, and flowers, including weeding.

· Monitoring and managing irrigation system operation and undertaking minor repairs and maintenance.

· Mulching garden beds.

· Regular blowing driveways & pathways

· Pick-up litter around the building, during regular inspections.

· Where required assist the cleaner.

About you

· Qualified in gardening or open to learn gardening and landscaping.

· Previous experience in similar role.

· A Problem solver and continuous improvement, ability to act decisively, and show good judgement.

· Knowledge in day-to-day cleaning services if required.

· Excellent customer service and well communicator.

· Must hold a valid driver's license and have own reliable car.
